I've been quite busy making stoles and antependiums for a nearby church. I digitized the embroideries and stitched them out in gold metallic. Here's one of them. The stole is draped over a dummy dressed in one of my tablecloths. Size 11x 17 cm, 8050 stitches.

WOW! this is just awesome mops. I have done church items myself. I love your design. What type of needle do you use with metallic thread and what type of thread is in your bobbin? I am making stoles for my confirmation class.

I stitched these on a Melco EP4, which takes industial all-purpose needles. I used normal bobbin thread. I changed the needle 4 times for 16 embroideries, as the thread tended to shred much sooner than usual with 'normal' embroidery thread.

Beautiful! Wish I could digitise something like that! *4U

This one was really easy, it was the last one of 10 and by that time I had learned a lot about pathing, especially from the 'green' grapes, so there are no jumps in the 4 elements. You really shouls give digitising a try, it has nothing to do with talent once you've got a picture (or an idea of one) but everything with perseverance - and I was born that way according to my dad who just had a look at the full set.

As one person who loves to do religious embroiderey to another - this is stunning work. Well done. I have a similar wheat design but not as nice as yours - it's beautiful.

Love and blessings Chris
