Hi cuties I have my machine just come back from reparing, I am glad to have it here home. But now I must wait to have my new glasses to be able to embroider again, and thread the needle !!!

I'm so glad that you have your machine back! I hope your new glasses come soon so that you can begin embroidering again soon.

I hope you get your new glasses soon. Normal waiting time after the operation is 3-6 weeks for you to get used to the 'new' eye.
Fortunately I got mine straight after the first check-up after 3 weeks. Before that I threaded the needle by holding the needle with my left hand and threading it with my right. For some reason it was so much easier to do than by just looking for the hole - my aim wasn't quite good enough. I just HAD to test stitch the embroideries for my stoles and antependiums and this worked well for me.

Claude, I am so happy for you that you have our machine back - we sure do miss them - when they are gone - don't we? I hope that you get your new glasses really soon - have you ordered them? I always have a small pair of reading glasses right by my machine (just for help with my machine) - that I use - when I have put my glasses down somewhere and forgot to pick them up. *4U

I can imagine how you feel.... funny situation though, now is when you wish you had bought a brand that threaded it'self. BUT you would still need the glasses to make sure it did thread..... ho hum

I know what you mean about the glasses. I was without the right contacts for weeks and what a drag that was. I did have reading glasses, but that's not what I needed. Oh well, I'm back in the saddle again. Hang in there. Judy

I am sorry, but I had to laugh at the situation you are in. I hope you get your class really soon. Glad you are having your machine back. At least you can dream. Maybe someone will come around and thread it for you.
