Hi, Cuties, I'm going to put this here, as well as in a separate post, so more people have a chance of seeing it. I'm adding the links to the Designs by SiCK forum for the voting at Cute, CuteAlphabets, and Amazing. Having been in management all my life, I guess delegating is second nature, and I'm really happy to 'delegate' the list keeping to anyone over at that forum that wants it, hee hee hee. It's not 'us' versus 'them', you know, because a lot of 'us' are 'them' too! I've been going to SiCK regularly just as long as I've been coming here, and I'm sure a lot of others have, too. It's about the embroidery, the designs, the fellowship--not the exclusivity of one forum. I'll go with whatever works, and that seems to be working, yay!! I'm so glad to see the Firebird and the Christmas letters coming up again, I'm sure there are a lot of newbies who haven't seen those, or had a chance to collect any samples of them. The Firebird was the reason I got a membership in the first place, that alphabet alone was worth the price of admission, hee hee hee, it's stunning when sewed out.

So, here are your links for the voting. These are all in the "Chit Chat" part of the DBS forum. It depends on how you have your settings in that forum where they'll apppear for you when you go to Chit Chat. I have mine set so that threads with the most recent posts to them come up at the top of the list. Since they're added to every day, they're usually right within the first 10 or so posts for me. If you need any help, just ask, no guarantees, since I'm occasionally brain-dead when it comes to changing forum settings, etc, but I'll try. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em, girls!! As I was adding these links, I scanned thru some of the posts, and it was a bit of a giggle. Seems as though they're getting swamped with letter requests, too. Was a post to the effect of "you're on the list, but at this rate your letter won't come up till sometime next year", hee hee hee. I think some people are just going to have to get used to buying the letters they miss, or do without, honestly & truly. Doesn't matter who's keeping the list, there are just way too many missed letters. Oh, well, just my opinion, good luck to everyone!!

I was just about to ask about this, because I was concluding there was another group voting somewhere. I did go over to that thread at SICK and the Chit Chat is 102 pages long and I don't see an organized list. I guess you just post a wish there and assume it will eventually get up for a vote.

Sorry to hear that. I was wondering how some of the old fonts were coming back so strong. That means that if a new font appears you may not get the font as we have been use to doing. Which is sad (another site controlling this one).

I doubt if those from the other sites are reading these comments, but if they are, they need to take into consideration the regulars from THIS SITE. We try to follow the requests by the "voting-request" process. Please honor this procedure. WE CUTIES DO. And thank you Lisa, and a *4U.

Thank you so much for all your hard work and effort. While the situation is disappointing, I guess it was inevitable that a larger group usurped our voting poll..perhaps it means that if we can't beat them we should join them and vote on their poll to achieve our goals here. But one thing that emerges clearly from this exercise is that we all seem to know where our bread is buttered - Yep! Miss Veronika has the nicest designs - well worth poaching.

Lisa, I'm sorry your wonderful effort didn't pay off for the forum here, thank you for taking the time to do it, anyway. I would certainly urge anyone missing letters or wanting requests filled to go over to the forum at Designs by SiCK, and put in your request. Obviously you will be far more likely to get it there.

Some of us are members at both places, and have been for a long time. This idea of voting as a group was started in the "Free Daily PES" forum at SiCK two years ago, and a wonderful woman named "Screenbags" offered to coordinate it for us over there, with great cooperation and results. Since many of us are members at both places, I suspect it was only a matter of time before someone offered to do the same for Cute. Generally, the only requests being made here were for alphabet letters, and I think with such a flood of them, Letvia just couldn't cope any more. On the SiCK forum I noticed that every category is being voted on, not just letters, which is a good thing in my opinion. Gets more designs out there for people who want them. It's a much bigger, more organised group over there. If someone's volunteered to do the work, why not take advantage of it? The voting list is under the topic "Chit Chat" (probably why I didn't run across it), and there is a list for Cute Embroidery and one for Cute Alphabets. As I see it, we can crab about somebody copying our idea (which they didn't, they started it, I directed Letvia there to see how they did it), or we can get on the wagon with the winners, vote SiCK's list to help everyone get designs they want, and more people will be happy. My vote is for all working together and being happy, happy, happy!!! They've got several hundred voting members, the most we can ever muster is about 40. Put your request there, it'll win! And, we'll have other things to talk about besides missed letters, we can clutter up the other forum with that, hee hee hee. There's lots of ways of winning, hee hee hee. I agree, am capricorn and like to get along with everyone but also dont like to waste my time. I have no hard feelings and encourage others that want to vote to put requests in to sick if they would like. I was only trying to be helpful. Good luck to all. Hugs Lisa

no it's clear why we didn't winn. I can understand this, if we ask to vote for other sites, but the voting for letters of the cute sites belong here too is my opnion.

We cannot complain about this as it was here on cute where voting requests for other sites were asked for and that goes back for some time. I guess what goes around comes around the only way to beat it is to buy membership here and then you cant loose.You go to great effort to bring to the for what our cuties are wanting and it is very much appriciated and it seems that it is going to get harder and harder,for the sake of the odd one or two letters missing they can be bought on their own and for the sake of a couple of dollars and the satisfaction of a complete set of alpha's it's worth the buy.

Times they are a changing. Lisa you have done your best. An A+ for all your efforts, we appreciate you. I am glad you saw this & told us so now we know. *

She means that another site has been getting together to request designs that they want. They vote for a particular design everyday just like we do but more of them are voting so they win.
