Very nice - and what a great hubby to do that for you.
Wow, he is very clever and you are very lucky!!!
It is cool .... I draw out what I want and he usually comes up with something better than what I had planned. God blessed me with him.
That is very nice. I always love it when my husband makes things for my sewing room.
Isn't it wonderful to have one like that....Never thought I would but God really blessed me with him and I see he blessed you too....0;)
A W E S O M E!!! Can I send you my address and have him make me one too!!! LOL... How lucky you are!!! flower for you and him too!!!! Oh rats sorry to hear about your machine though..Of all times for a machine to go into the shop....hoping for a speedy recovery for your machine..he could make these and sell them...no need for fancy it's all about function...
oh I forgot to mention...you sure are lucky to have the best hubby around..a creative one too! It is very sweet of him to take an interest in your hobby and create such a useful and pratical notion for you...
Sure....Send it to me... He wants to finesse it just a little. The first one is always a quickie. I am usually frustrated with something or other and we come up with an idea. Then he does a quick job so that I can get back to crafting.
This is great! I had my Father make me a stand for one spool. I might have to see if he can do something like this for me!
I am sure he could...My dad bless his soul could make anything too.....And when he passed God blessed me with this wonderful husband of mine (who actually thinks like my dad) and now he makes all sorts of things for me. The bottom is about 12" or so and it is specifically for the smaller cones. Drill the holes and bend the wire and voila there it is.
great job ,would love to have some thing like this for the larger cones that do not fit in the machine.
hope u get ur machine back soo .*4u
It would be a bit more complex with larger cones and you would need more room. I only have a small space and that is why this worked so well for me. But I know it could be done with larger cones too.
Give your hubby A hug he;s found the way to a sewers heart!!!
he could market these at your dealer!!!
Maybe he can finesse it and they would sell it for him...Worth a try at least....Hummmmmmm.....Honey.....
He was a bit upset with me because I put a picture of this on....He said it wasn't good workmanship but I disagreed. All the coments of everyone is helping to lift his spirits though... Thank you all very much!
that is a very good idea! Sorry to hear bout your machine, hope it does not take too long.
Yea, I was really bummed ....he went to all that trouble and now I can't use it till the machine works.
What a good hubby you have, and a very creative one!
Some of these men of us is really very handy Love marie
You are truly blessed to have such a handy husband. It's wonderful to have an idea & have your husband make it into a helpful item. I trust you'll have your machine back good as new & soon. God's blessings to you both.:^D
Angel can I borrow you hubby? Haha!! He should market this. H&*.
I told him you wanted to borrow him and he chuckled. This was just a quickie fix for me but he could probably come up with a nicer looking version .....hummmm
NICE item and I pray you have your machine back ASAP ;D *2U
This is very PRACTICE! As for your machine, this is really bad before Christmas. But perhaps nity repair your husband that?!? You are a lucky woman.
Thank you, I am very blessed to have him! Actually I am trying to find a service manual because the nearest repair is quite a distance and they aren't very nice either....so .....maybe ?
My son is good he can make any thing I draw him a picture and he makes it as long as I give sizes on it.we used to do lots of wood work I would draw pictures and he would make them and I would paint them
This kind of things don't need to be fancy as long as it works for you it is okay and your hubby did a great job on it.
Good on him. Keep him busy
I do....much busier sometimes than he should be. We both like creating things. So we always get in over our heads sometimes....LOL
A very smart solution. Good luck on getting the machine fixed. It is terrible to be without it. That is why you should buy several machines:)
I would love it ---- and then a bigger house with a dream sewing machine 0:D
This is great! Hope you get your machine serviced very fast and can put it to use.
I am not happy with the repair shop that is the closest to me - I just found a service manual and bought it . Maybe it will help.
Good job. Luckily I also have a hubby that can do almost everything.
they are wonderful to have aren't they...sometimes he gets too many projects going at once though.
A very smart and crafty hubby you have, too. This is great - so sorry to hear about your machine - the service people are always so busy with machines - this time of year, too. *4U
This is a wonderful piece of woodwork ingenuity! Well done to your husband.
Love and blessings Chris
Thanks Chris....We both love crafts and we work together. I told him what I wanted and we figured it out and he made it. This all started because I got angry with the prices at JoAnn Fabrics....LOL! They wanted $6.99 for a plastic based cone holder that only held 1 cone at a time!
I knew my hubby could come up with something.
God bless you too.
