a great success. We have stitched loads of shirlener88's stockings for their friends - again, Thank You! for sharing.

I've bought some Hug-Um's from Moose B Stitchin - the Gingerbread men are just sooooooooooo cute! - and Scissor Keepers and Tissue Box covers from Embroidery Garden but now I want more. Thanks for your time.

Wow, you have done well!! Would you believe, I haven't ever done a ITH project. What would be the easiest one for me to try out? Hugs, Laura

Neither have I. Maybe both us will get inspired.

Shirlener88's little stockings are really easy and quick to stitch. I used tear away in my 4x4 hoop, cut my felt just under 4" wide, pinned it to the stabiliser 1 1/2" below the top and again at the bottom and stitched. I have a Brother Innov-is 700E so after the first 2 parts had been stitched I cancelled the design, centered and stitched the name across the top then cancelled that and went back to the stocking, fast forwarding to the 3 part. Before I stitched I put a piece of ribbon between the stabiliser and felt, stitched the outline then removed the hoop and without unhooping placed a bit of felt underneath the design, replaced it in the machine and stitched the final part. Really easy and so festive, especially if you use glitter felt! Good Luck. I'm going to try uploading a photo of my "stocking tree" - when my daughter brings my camera back! Good Luck.
