Another FSL question. I'm lining up bookmarks to do several in one hoop. How far apart should I space them?

Thank you everyone for your help. I will try a few in my large hoop and see what happens.

I have done 3 or 4 at a time in one hooping depending on the size, I find you waste a lot of your WSS with only doing one at a time. But as the others have said be carefull, do not try to do too many in one hooping as they will sometimes distort the lines. Try doing the one in the center and then the top and bottom ones, works okay for me... x0x0x

Do not be afraid to give it a try. I have put up to 3, or 4. small FSL in my 5x7 at one time. H&*.

So far I have used the 5x7 hoop and embroidered in them what ever I could fit in the frame which of course depends on the size of the design. I use 2 layers of Vilene. I had no problems so far. I am now goig to try it on the 6x10.

I leave as little space as possible between the edges of the designs. As long as there is SOME space, the WSS will disolve away and the designs will be fine.

Shushana, most designers would recommend that you only use one per hooping - but I have found that if the design - isn't too dense - that I can get two or three in a larger hoop - but make sure that they do not touch and have plenty of room to not interfer with the other one stitching out. Good luck - I also have had some FSL - that just doesn't work in a hoop - with another - it is design by design - to see how they stitch out - to determine - what you really can do. Hope this helps - *4U

I purposely bought the 6x10 hoop to do many things at the same time and I did fsl book marks 4 at a time with excellent results, just don't let them tougch each other!!

I use my 6x10 hoop also. I fill it up with what ever I'm doing. If you don't hoop the stabilzer too tight you won't have any problems. If the stabilizer is too tight it will "run" when it is punctured by the needle when the hoop is full. I put 2 layers of Badgemaster over my hoop, place the other part on and tighten the screws but don't pull on the stabilizer to get it super tight. Works for me.
