Well, isn't that cheerful!!! I don't think it matters that you got the idea from Nancy, YOU did the work, and it came out great! How large did you do your squares, 10" or 12"? I have an idea for this to do with fused on photos of my kitties that have passed over the Rainbow Bridge. This looks pretty simple, yet it works up really nicely. Thanks so much for showing us!! Hugs, Marji
Each strip of color is cut 2 1/2" wide. The final finished square is 20x20. You make the 20 square 4 times and sew it all together. Hope this helps
Oh, yes, what a great help, I just love love love LARGE squares, hee hee hee. This could be a bed quilt with just a few more squares, and it would be easy, too. Thanks so much for the info! Hugs, Marji
This is wonderful. Where did you get your sealife? H&*.
Very pretty - I think I saw her demo this on one of her shows some time back, and have had every intention to do on for the GS, but never did get it done. Good job.
Thanks for all the wonderful comments. I can't take the credit for the colors, I copied what I saw at Nancy's, but thanks again
this is so cheerful. You did a great job. Thanks for showing it to us
Wonderful work - it could have been done with embroidery, too - Hehehe! *4U
Thank you. First I made the strips using bright colors. The fish I found at Walmart, sold by the yard. I cut them arpart and fused on with wonder under and just stitched around the edges.
This is really cute. My D wants me to make a fish quilt for g/s. Now i have the idea, Are the fish etc applique or embroidered? Thanks Well done ")
