Hi Embird users, there's a new update today, Nov 13th, for both Studio and Basic, with a few new features.

Well I've just installed the update and curse of all curses, I've lost the info I had saved in the thread catalogues, even though I saved the charts and nitky.ini file and reinstated them.
My marked colours show up in Embird but the extra info of where each spool is stored no longer shows up in Embird even though the info is still in the chart text file.

I guess I must have missed copying another instruction file of some sort.

Needless to say I've been up all night retyping the info into each individual catalogue and it will probably take me several more hours as I have over 300 spools. I could just cry. :-(

Thanks Martine, I downloaded the upgrade last week but have not yet installed it. The list of new features sure sounds great though.

AND NO CHARGE for the upgrade!!!!

The Balara's sure do amaze me, they are so fantastic to deal with.

NO DONGLES with Embird.
You can install the program on any many computers as you have, eg. laptop and pc, all they ask is that you only use one at a time.

The licences have to be installed on each computer also.

It's an honour system that works for Embird because tha Balara's give us so much program for the money, who would WANT to rip them off.!!!

It's a great programme and easy to work with. And there are a number of Embird users here that could answer loads of questions you might have.
