it takes alot of effort to line them up neatly and spaced just right...I was wondering if maybe a hint on an easier way to do this....the 15"x8" is just a hair too small to fit some of the words...thank you for any and all suggestions....deanna

Ricky & Martine have given u excellent advice. I would resize if you can but aligining the mid of design with mid of hoop is the way to go. If u do not have templates place hoop on some sort of grid(cutting board is nice. I have n times past done this & used eraceable quilt marker to put dot on hoop top & bottom then ea. side & used these markers to find center of hoop. *4u

Oh Deanna, I have never done that before. It sounds like you have a few really good answers...but, I would thing the idea of reducing the size just a little would be the less complicated ... good luck!

Susa Glenn has detailed instructions on aligning multiple parts to a design. there are a couple of links on her home page to them. Hope this helps. And a special thank you for all you are doing on the project.<br />Hugs and *, Lois

As Ricky said print out templates and line them up, mark the centres and the middle lines of both, poke a small hole at the crossings in both centres, pin it on your material and mark the centres through the hole with a water or air erasable pen. That should give you exact placement. Good luck.

But if it's just a hair to small I would resize it slightly.

Deanna, If you print the separate words on template plastic, you should be able to line them up quite accurately.Make sure the templates show the design center.

Deanna, is there any way that you can make the lettering a bit smaller? Or put a hash mark or x - somewhere in the hoop to align it - that is what they do with split designs. Good luck, dear one. *4U
