Try US Ebay. I buy all my supplies from the US because even with postage they are much cheaper than buying here in Australia.
If anyone can help you it is the folks at GoneSewing. I've added their Ebay link below for you.

If you don't see what you are after, you can always write and ask them.
Hugs n roses, Meganne

Hi, do you mean MC9000?
It is obsolete. You might be lucky enough to get the hoops and cards second hand on e-bay. You will not be able to download designs unless you get the software, which is also obsolete. The only way you might be able to use the embroidery section on it is to buy cards of designs in the sew format, again, second hand.
I have just noticed you from Sth. Australia. If you go to your Janome dealer he might be able to suggest something. But, like I said, that model is obsolete.

hi yes that;s it. i have a mc300e with every thing and just wanted a few more fancy stitches but thought it might be possible to find the right things for the mc9000 nothing on ebay that i can afford so it might be bad luck all round as once the machines breaks down it will be imppossible to fix .just have to keep my fingers crossed regards ava

Yes, it is great for decorative stitches. Janomes are good machines. If you look after it and get it serviced regularly,it should last.
I, too, have a 300E.

That's right, but there was a software to write sew designs on cards, but like I said, it is no longer available, new. It was called Sew and Scan, I think.

mpo14011 by mpo14011 25 Nov 2009

Or maybe Scan and Sew.

mpo14011 by mpo14011 25 Nov 2009

Yes, and you could use it to transfer designs from the computer to your machine.

mpo14011 by mpo14011 25 Nov 2009

To the machine's card, that is.

oh o.k just raining here spent all afternoon looking wasted my day but i have learnt a little i will try to get some embroidery cards but in the mean time just use the great fancy stitches it has have a great day regards ava

Don't worry too much about the embroidery cards. The 9000 only uses a small hoop. You have the A and B hoop for the 300E as well as a Giga Hoop, if you choose to buy one.
I wish that rain would hurry up and get to Adelaide. It will probably by-pass us again.
