12-01-09 Digitizing Diva refers to a domain name, not a person. I went to the DD website,
http://www.aboutus.org/Digitizing...
On this page it states that this domain is related to
* DesignsBySick.com
* DigIfaVs.com
* TheEnchantedCottage.com
Apparently Shawn Knight owns or has owned 17 domains. It looks like he quit the DD & moved all those designs to Sick when he started it.
Mystery solved.

Folks...DigiFavs.com and The Enchanted Cottage.com are owned by ME Charlotte Gilmour, NOT Shawn Knight of Designs by SiCK.

I used to be the editor of his newsletter; I resigned from that position in the late summer of 2009.

But he does not have a thing to do with DigiFavs or The Enchanted Cottage.

This can be verified though for anyone who knows how to search properly (not like it should have to be) but it can be. He has NEVER owned those sites, I started them and still own them both to this day.

If anyone has any questions though, feel free to ask.

If it came from Designs by Sick, I can state absolutely that it is the digitiser's initials

"Digitizingdiva sets marked as DD go backwards from last page.
"
She does some lovely alphabets, but I have found her redwork is far too dense for my taste and I prefer the "JN" version.

Thank you for the helpful info. I'm just trying to learn all the new terms for this hobby.

It may mean Double Density, that areas of the design are raised or textured.

I have some designs starting by DD
They comes from embroiderydesigns.com and the file text coming with them say that the digitizer is Dimensional Designs.

Hope that helps.

Might be the digitizer's initials, such as Digitizing Diva, Dianne's Designs, etc.
