I just love this globe LOL . . . I guess I should move onto something else. This is applique. First the placement line, then the tacking line for the applique fabric, then the continents, finally satin stitch. No jumps (2 very small threads you can leave)

My first project ever. Letters are in verigated. Should be white and bigger. He's 4, He'll love it! IT SAYS "It does revolve" "around me." "Grandma said so!"
