why not use wsf laundry bags. you should be able to find then without too much trouble it is what i have used for the last four years with no problem at all.annie in the uk
In UK I'm using 'Solufleece' which is possibly the same as the water soluble vilene moyed in Australia refers to. Use water soluble glue to stick pieces together.
You will find the best fabric WSS at the link below.

water soluble vilene is what I use here in Australia. It is good because I sew the smaller pieces together so I can reuse. lot less wastage.
Hi: Wash n'Gone from JoAnn's Fabric store; Walmart has something similiar (forget the name); Vilene is another one which can be ordered on-line. In most cases, its a 'washable stabalizer' WWS. Since there is alot of 'waste', I have used the one from JoAnn's and Walmart and they work just perfect for FSL designs.
I really like the Floriani Wet N Gone & Wet N Gone Tacky...both great products and I only use one layer for my FSL...
Solvy has one, too. I think it's called AquaMesh instead of AquaFilm. Can't remember and I took mine out of the original packaging and put it in a tube I have for such.;)
Thank you All for your help and I noticed that your answers pushed me over 3,000... THANK YOU and for the help he he
I believe Floriani's website carries the fabric type WSS. I have read you should use 2 layers - one at 90 degrees from the other.
Dolly I mostly use H20gone, that I get at Walmart. Most FSL designs are so many stitches that I use a double layer of WSS. I prefer the fabric type WSS to the vinyl WSS for FSL. We are at 23 degrees this morn, please send some heat my way. Haha!! H&*
I use aqua magic by inspira I have only had to use 1 layer for my fsl, I wish we were using ac instead I have my woodstove going 24/7 LOL

Vilene - you can order here (or several other places on the internet) http://www.pointetopointe.com/sit...
Also, see this post - it lists fabrics and the suggested stabilizers. It's probably a good idea to bring this back to the top since we have so many new members. Originally posted by: jrob

I use 'Pellon' you can get it at Walmart (if yours still has fabric or at Joanns. I've never used the solvy but my friend has only used that kind and seems to like it. Hope this helps a little ------
Hi Dolly: I work in a shop that sells embroidery machines and supplies. The brand name is Sulky. Hope this helps in your search
