not run. It had to go in the shop to get it going again! I sure did miss everyone and it feels great to have my computer back so I can commuicate with the outside world! I feel like I have missed out on so much! I am not a happy camper about all I have missed out on but I am glad it could be fixed and I did not have to replace it! Happy to be back among the group! I was afraid that no one would even miss me! It sure is good to be back online! I was lost without the computer because I stay in most of the time because it is too hard to get out with the severe Arthritis. I got nothing done while it was gone! I like your new Betty Boop! I hope things have been going great with you. You have come so far since I first started joining in with the group. You are my inspiration when I get down and out and start feeling sorry for myself! I just stop and think about how incrediblely strong you have been through all of your treatments and surgery. I have always felt like that if someone can get through the pain, then so can I! You have been through so much more that I have and you have been a shining example of pure bravery and kept a wonderful outlook through it all! Like I said before, I admire you for your wonderful attitude and personality! I do not let myself get down too often but sometimes I give into the pain and wonder if things will ever get any better. I do not do very well with big changes in my life. I like things to be constant with very few changes in my schedule. Losing my computer left me a bit depressed because I could not communicate with my friends and I did lose alot of the designs that I was collecting. I also could not get to a few designs on the computer that I needed to keep commitments! Now I am very far behind on my Christmas sewing and all I want to do is catch up with things on the computer! Of course, I work best under pressure and always have!
I did have Norton on my computer but it did not work somewhere down the line! I was afraid to go to cute and try to use the computer because I did not want to share my virus with anyone. I did not try to use it at all when I got a BIG notice flashing on my desktop that I had a serious virus! It turned out that I had several viruses! At least Norton alerted me before I ruined someone else's computer! I went to several sites that I found on my Yahoo Groups to download some designs and all of a sudden I was in trouble. I have no idea exactly where the virus came from. I hope you have a wonderful day! Linda

Thanks, Chris! The flower is beautiful. I really was lost without being able to get to Cute Friends! I missed alot in 10 days! It did cost alot to get it fixed, in money, but it took a chunk out of my life because I thought I had lost my computer and I knew I could not afford to replace it! My son had told me that everything might have to be erased but I did not lose very much. I am having to learn to navigate things again. There was alot of changes in the way it works! Right now I am trying to figure out how to get it to download my designs in PES format. I can not find my Smart Sizer and Smart Sizer Gold to change the formats. I am sure my son will be able to find it when I can get him back over here. I was the one that downloaded it to start with but I have not been able to locate it so far. I may have to go back and re-load it. It is causing alot of extra work for me right now but I can change it on the desk-top. I do not know alot about computers. I am self-taught. My son hooked up the computer and did not even show me how to get online when he first talked me into buying a computer. I have come a long way to be self taught. My trial and error has gotten me in trouble a few times but Brian has been good about coming and getting things straightened out when I messed up! I have taught myself alot in the past few years that I never dreamed I could ever do. I do think I learn something new very often. If I get in a mess, I call him and he usually talks (screams) me though it. He has no patience with me when I try things and have to call him. I have learned to ignore his impatience just like I did his Dad's! He is his Dad made over and I do not understand that because he was never around him very much. Thanks! I did not lose alot. The repair man did away with a few things that he said was slowing my computer down alot! He took off everything that he did not want on his but left my designs! Happy Holidays to you and your family! Linda
