This is stunning and more work than he will ever realize, but I'm sure not more love!;)
You put alot of work into this and it shows! This is great for a young person. I have never made a quilt that actually looked like a quilt but that is an inside joke at my house! I just love this. I wish I had the patience to one for my great grand sons. Instaed I bought some Blanket like material and I am putting binding on it and their names. One piece is white background fleece with polar bears and the other piece of fleece is plaid with different shades of blue with a small bit of purple. The polor bears are for the boys and the plaid is for the girl. It is 60" wide and I got 6 yards of each piece. I was thinking about cutting the Polar into 2 pieces. The boys are 4 and 1. Do you think that it will be big enough for both of them or should I leave it in one piece and let Mommy put it on the bed? The oldest boy has a regular size bed and the baby is in a baby bed. That is the only way to corral him! I'm not sure that he doesn't have some monkey in him. He never crawled or walked. He went from scooting across the floor to running! He will climb up on anything! They did not know he could walk when he got up and started running across the room. Mommy or granny is with him all the time! This a well done quilt and you put some thought in it before all the hard work!
Hello, yes I will keep this piece of material all in one and make something for the older little boy. Come on grandma show them you can. Tanks again Love Marie
