I pray every night that those laid off from work will find equitable jobs. My sister was laid off from her job six months ago and had to fight for the unemployment benefits just to survive. She almost lost her home. It was very rough for the first four months. With prayer and keeping the right mind set about this situation, she didn't go around the storm but went through the storm and I can happily say today she has completed her 3rd day at a new job with a salary very close to her previous paying job. I pray for employment for your daughter soon, good heatlh for your family and enjoyment with the son coming home. Merry Christmas.
My prayers are for her to find the job that is hers. It's out there. God has his hand in every situation, Beth, as I'm sure you know and this is no exception. I understand it's hard being the mother and wanted to protect our young....at any age! Merry Christmas to you, too!;)
Beth, please update us - on how things are going with your daughter and the family. It is a good thing that she has a game plan and has such strange belief that things will work out - as they will - one way or the other - this will be another growing experience for them. *4U
So sorry to hear your news, hope everything works out in the new year. You and your family will be in my Prayers . Hugs Yvonne
I understand a worried mother for I have been there many times, but have found out that everything is in God's hand. We only must trust him & have faith. She & her fmly will b in my prayers. *
hope better days will come soon! hope you will have lovely holidays together, at least some good news.
Dear Beth, I'm so sorry about the job and the problems. I know how you feel, in a different country I'm going through the same problem, more than a year without a job, a son to support, and a huge debit left from this bad economy. Hopefully New Year will be good for all of us. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Love,Yoriko
Yes, Yoriko, this is a rough ecomony. More than 30% of her company lost their jobs this week. She too has a teenage son, but they are thankful that her busband still has his job.
I am so sorry to hear of your families problems. It's good your daughter can find joy in her son coming home. Even in the worst of times God sends us blessings in many ways. Stay strong and trust the Lord to work things out. He wants us to lean on Him in all things. God Bless and have a Blessed Christmas. *4U Judy
Thanks for the thoughts. She is strong, and has a game plan up and running - we only hope that something will break soon.
It is horrible to get laid off at any time but even worse when it happens around the holidays. With all the medical exspenses this makes it double hard. I am praying for your daughter and her family and you. As parents we will always worry along with ouur children. Hugs Angie
We never can cut those apron strings, an we? But, she is my "hero". She has had to go through a lot in her life, and has always seemed to come back on top. Thanks for the thoughts.
