cry, but I guess that is part of the healing. We had a military funeral yesterday and today I am just wondering what I want to do next. Have to get through Christmas now. I have both my sons here for Christmas, which is great since one lives in California. I do want to wish each and everyone a Merry Christmas and great New Year.

All the FIRSTS are going to be difficult. Holidays, birthdays, anniversaries etc. I am glad your sons are with you. Allow yourself to grieve. It isn't a sign of weakness. Remember the good times and don't feel guilty about laughing. I was so wrapped up in my own grief I forgot to ask my children how they are doing. It will get better. Try to enjoy the togetherness of the moment. Hugs Angie

Thank you Angie. I know it will be difficult and I am so thankful to have both of my sons here for Christmas. My oldest lives in California and came home just in time to be with me when Joe passed. He will be here till the 1st of Jan before he has to go home. Mildred

God will direct and order your steps. He will NEVER leave you alone. Help will be there! That's a PROMISE! Continue to heal and be STRONG. It ALL comes in time. Cherish the memories. I am reminded of something my mother said to me before she passed. It has gotten me through many of things! Be BLESSED & HIGHLY FAVORED of the LORD & Man!
