I believe you are referring to the bobbin tension spring - but not totally sure. I can see that it is past your time, anyway!
I'm so sorry I didn't see this earlier to help you I was admiring my new dining table and getting tablecloths out to fit it. It was answered in one of my posted questions.
pennifold called it the penultimate section.
The dictionary says penultimate means: next to last.
My Brother manual calls it the thread guide to the bobbin winder.
How's the snow & skiing in Aspen. We are in Steamboat and boy are we glad it's snowing!
We are having a great time!
New Snow: 2"
Last 48 hrs: 2"
Last 72 hrs: 2"
Base Depth: 25"
Summit Depth: 49"
today officially 11 inches, but much more up top. We were skiing knee deep to hip deep in spots. Now this is what we came for!
Have a Happy New Year! and safe travels home.
Time is up and no one believes I can give a name to what this is. TY for all of those that tried to help me. I would like to mention I searched back 30 pgs. on this site and at least 90% were Merry Christmas wishes... forgive me but those really belonged in the personal tab. Now curiousty got the best of (me) the cat I would still like to know the name of this thing.
I think the cutie called it a pistel??? not sure tho OMgoodness time is running out! When winding a bobbin you wrap the thread around this circular thingy (and there was a picture of it) TWICE I need to find that post or more importantly know the proper name for this circular thingy! LOL I am too competitive for my own good and have maybe one min left to hold off, I did tell everyone that I can get the name of this so it is no longer cheating, it is a bet!
