Hi, Elizabeth! If you are talking about increasing the size of a Free standing lace doily, I don't think it would be a good idea. Free standing lace is digitized so each stitch interlocks with several others, in order than the design won't fall apart. In Digitizer, we can increase and decrease and it will compensate by adding or removing stitches in a regular embroidery design. But for lace, those stitches are placed just so, to lock the design together, and I don't think Digitizer can compensate for that. Your stitches may not interlock properly and your whole design might fall apart. If anyone has any different experience, it would be good to know. Best of luck to you!! Hugs, Marji
