My mother asked me to make her a card for her to send to her cousin Joan - because, as she said, "they don't seem to have any cards with age 89 on in the shop!" I decided to keep it simple - the floral spray is a freebie I got from somewhere, sorry but I can't remember where, the lettering I added with my machine, and the scalloped oval I drew and digitised myself. She and I were both really pleased with the finished result, I just hope Joan liked it too! Love from Dianne x x x

Your card is beautiful and you did a great job. Joan will be surprised and very pleased that you made the card yourself. Store bought cards are nice but nothing is as nice as making it yourself. *4U

Dianne, it's lovely - that's what I write for every card you show, isn't it - you come up with such wonderful designs for every occasion! Well done.

That is a beautiful card. You did a great job of digitizing the scalloped oval. I am sure Joan will love it, I do. Hugs Lynn

Thank you - I will ask my mother if she ever mentioned it, they write quite frequently. I suppose I'd better start thinking about an assortment for up to and including 90 - my mother will be 85 this year, and her brothers and sisters are between 74 and 89! (Apart from her eldest brother who died in WW2, they are all still alive and kicking! They make old bones in our family!) Love
