You're pretty new here, so I'll try to explain. The Cute Embroidery site is one of several owned by Veronika. Alphabet letters have been one type of design offered by these sites pretty much since the beginning. Most often they were interspersed with other designs. At one point on Cute, the categories were made, so each day we got a free design from each category, including Alphabets. This meant lots more free designs! Then, when Veronika noticed that alphabets were the rage of collectors, she began another website featuring just alphabets, Cute Alphabets. That added an extra alphabet freebie besides the one given at Cute Embroidery, because the Cute Alphabets designs are always different. I would think Veronika added the alphabets from the Cute Embroidery site for purchase on the Cute Alphabets site for practical reasons. If collectors are doing a search for 'alpahbet', they may not come across the Cute Embroidery site, and miss the alphabets offered here. When you're in business, it's not strange at all to want the broadest customer base you can get, and the most exposure for your product. Commercial website owners are hoping to make money from their sites by selling some of their product. They give freebies as a way of attracting people to the site, so they will look at other things there and possibly make a purchase. I think that offering free letters from a different alphabet on each site is pretty generous of Veronika. You just need to bookmark Cute Alphabets and go there regularly to collect your free letter, just like any other site that offers freebies or hunts on a regular basis. Since the free designs are the same designs that are sold, I think it's worth putting a little effort into collecting them. Just make a checklist and bookmark everything you need to go to every day, and you won't miss any--happy collecting! Hugs, Marji

I wonder why it is necessary to have fonts for daily freebies on both sites. Why are fonts on cuteembroidery and cutealphabets. Seems cuteembroidery would generate more income if focus was on designs and not so many alphabets, or combine the two sites. Just seems like a lot of work for the webmaster and owner.

And with no days to catch up on missing letters. Better remember to catch the letters every day if you want them.

I missed a lot and now I have to buy them seperately, what a pitty because if I convert the $ to ZAR it will cost me a lot. Why not one site for all these designs?
