There are lots of quilt shops in MD and VA. Go to search engine and ask for quilt shops in the state you want and it will pull them all up. Jenny Haskins is just outside of DC.
I have got to make a trip there soon. I live in NC so don't have far to go.love those stors. I am going to get thread and look for fabric to make hand bags out of have a graet pattern . those two shops are the best around here.

I wish I lived in NC. I was born in Raleigh and have tons of relatives in that area. But all 8 grandkids live here in Southern Maryland so I'll stay put for a while.
It has been several years since i was at Mary Jo's, my sweetie sleep in the parking lot while i shopped. I have bought from Long creek mills, but never been there. You must report your findings. also, i personally pulled into the Robison-Anton factory and they don't have a outlet store( I cried). Now i have discovered a new source for stabilizer and thread, called The Embroidery store www.embstore.com they are located in Winston-Salem,NC phone # 8005049757. If Winston-Salem is not too far off your course of travel, by all means beg to reroute if possible. I live in Ga. so if others are more familiar with NC and SC goodies please chime in. Oh! one more thing to watch for is a billboard advertising K and W cafeterias take the exit and enjoy an excellent meal. Love, Kay
I purchase from The Embroidery store online also. I love their specials and monthly sale items. Quite familiar with the cafeteria as I am originally from NC.
Are you driving or taking the sled? Seriously. . .I'm sure the weather will change by then--have a great time wherever you visit, and post that picture, OK?
Driving, our sled is in for repairs. hahahaha. Could have used one here a few weeks ago. 26" of snow and they didn't plow our neighborhood for 5 days. Thankfully we have a 4 wheel drive vehicle.
