I had a huge problem trying to stop my serger going walk about and leaving home when i put on a bit of power

Well i have solved that problem today. Hubby has had a new recling chair and i was was a bit worried that if when he went to sit down that the chair would move away from him so decided to purchase a set of none slip caster cups for the casters to sit in.
It was then that the light went on in the brain cell. if it will
work for a large chair why not for the serger. It did. I tried it out and it worked great so next step was some double sided tape to stick the inside of the cups to the feet on the serger. Now i can sew at top speed and no raceing
or turning away. hope this will help others with this problem

Great save. You could also use the waffle weave matting. I have the waffle weave under all of my machines and my foot pedals to keep them from running off on me. It's available in rolls in the shelf paper isle at WalMart.
