is having some rather extensive things done. My husband traveled to North Carolina to take care of him, as his mom - my daughter - is scheduled for surgery next week too. I was unable to get off work, so Grandpa said he would do it. We were told that he would be unable to care for himself for 5-7 days after the surgery, so we do not know what to expect. He has been in pain for several months, and has gone through multiple draining of fluids, and therapy, and now this. You can probably tell -he is very special to me, and this old grandma is worried - and missing grandpa too. Hugs to you all.

Thank you all - I just spoke to my husband, and Bradley is not doing well right now. He is very sick, and not sure if it is the medication or residual anesthesia. Hubby is not used to having to clean up like that, but he can do it. The doctor said that they found spurs that they think are causing the issues with his knee and that it had caused septic bursa (?) fluid. When they told Hubby that he will most likely be unable to report to duty for 6 weeks, he told me that he was bringing tht boy home. LOL Right now he is in a big brace and has drainage tubes to help remove the fluid. We will know more when he has a recheck on Tuesday. Today was rough for both my daughter and me, but thank you so much for your prayers and well wishes. Hugs to you all.

I will lift you all up in prayer during this time. What a wonderful hubby you must have, and of course I'm sure you would be there also if you could. Also remembering your daugther as she will be having her surgery. In Christ, Judy

Lots going on, Beth. Prayers for your whole family and isn't it wonderful your darling husband is taking this role to go nurture Bradley. What a special time they will have. I just know this will soon be over and he will not have to suffer more pain.

Will keep him and you and your husband in my prayers. It is difficult to be away from home for surgery, but can you imagine how comforting it will be to have his grandpa there to care for him. What a bond they will form! Blessings for our military men and women; may God keep them strong and self assured.
Love,
Jacqueline

My dear, you bet I will be praying for Bradley and his surgeons - and for your DH to be able to care for him and keep them both healthy after surgery, too. I will shoot one up for you - to help you get through this time - alone and with your daughter's upcoming surgery, too.
