Hey everyone. This is the greatest site. I love hearing from everyone. I especially like seeing all those great projects. Here's my question. Has anyone ever used the "Wonder Thread Guide?"

I have not tried it, here is what I do I have a thread stand I bought several years ago so I could use cone thread with my regular sewing machine. It stands on your table and you can put emb thread on it and feed it through your machine and it will feed okay. I have a Baby Lock ESE2 and it works great. My husband also mounted it on a block of wood and it makes it a little heavier so it does not move around when I am sewing. It works great I will try to post a pic of it so u can see later today. Good luck you can buy a thread stand for most likely under $10.00 or have someone make you one it is a very simple little thing. I will also meaesure the height of it also. Good luck & save your money for more goodies for emb. Sara

To me it just looks like another way to get money from us for another (according to them) "must have" gadget.
DH, made me a ten spool thread stand for my embroidery machine and a two spool thread stand for my sewing machine. I don't like using the threads from the machines' thread spoolers.

Nama, Welcome!! I have a Babylock, it and the Brothers are very much alike. I purchased the "Wonder Thread Guide" I could not find a way for it to work on my machine. I had to return it. The directions showed how to use it for a Viking, and one other machine, do not remember the other name. H&*

I,m surprised, I saw it at Nancy's Notions and she works with Babylock's.I have trouble with the thread coming off the spool and wrapping around the bobbin guide, so I thought the thread guide would help.

You would be better off purchasing or making some thread nets to put over your threads as it prevents them from unravelling too quickly thus eliminating the problem.
