It just goeas to show there are a Heck of a lot of Tallented Cuties this is no exception its Beautiful Hugs Shazells
It is beautifull, love the colours. Not the pattern I want just how you worked it. Did you cut out pieces from fabrics for the patterns and were these embroidered over and left in the design.
I cut 3 pieces of fabric that had designs printed, then placed them on the background fabric with iron-on. I basically used similar colours from the print & embroidered over the top of the whole lot... like colouring in.
WOW - awesome, very nice and worth all the hard work. Are you going to frame it? It needs to hang where everybody and see and admire it. Congratulations.
I made it to go into the "Project 2 Quilt " here, but now I don't know if they want it as I haven't heard anything......
MY WORD ,IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL..YOU ARE A VERY TALANTED LADY. THANKS FOR SHARING. LUCY
Wonderful work!! You did a great job doing it all freehand.
Reggie, that is awesome! Wow! Is this what they call "thread art?" I USED to hand emb...before the days of arthritis! And that is truly ART!! Tks for sharing!
It used to be the "ONLY" way to embroider on a machine (this one is a special industrial machine just for the old work) before computers took over. I have heard that some people do it on a straight sewer, I did do some when I first started out 27yrs ago, but then got to learn at the embroidery business that I did artwork for. I left there & found a machine advertised in the paper & decided to buy it... best $400 I ever spent!!! I, at that time only really knew how to do script writing, I basically taught myself from there.
Reggie you did a wonderful job. This is truly beautiful. Mildred
Very impressive freehand work, I am truly envious of such talent. I'm lucky to control darning a hole. LOL!!!
Hugs n roses, Meganne
