I'm so glad that you read those labels! It's crazy how so many things can interact with each other and have so many negative affects! It is always a good thing to discuss all the suppliments and medications you are taking, with your doctor. I hope that given time off of the certain meds, will bring you much more relief and Happiness!
So glad to hear things are looking better for you. I know we've all been worried about you. Thank goodness you've found the culpirt that was making you feel so depressed and stopped taking it. In case your doctor didn't tell you there are two types of insomenia one of which sleeping pills will help and the other you'll just have to try a different approach such as an over the counter nite time cold remedy...they actually work for me, won't let me sleep all night but will sleep 3 to 4 hours. Without it I only sleep 1 to 2 hours at most. But don't take it every night. Hope this helps some. Hope you have a restful night and God bless.
Dear Lucy, I'm so glad that you can see here so many folk love and care about you - remember also that you are not just loved, you are needed; it is great to see you are taking steps to take good care of yourself rather than just of your image in other peoples eyes; if you haven't already read it, I would humbly suggest you find a copy of "The Desiderata" by Max Ehrman - many of us have days when we feel like "professional rejects" but we need to just step back for a moment and laugh at that situation and at ourselves for thinking that way, because each one of us has a purpose even if we don't understand what it is and each one of us is of value and we simply have to trust in God. Also, Lucy, I been told that vitamin D deficiency can contribute to the "blues" , so you might consider discussing that possibility with your doctor.

LUCY, I AM SO SORRY I DID NOT SEE YOUR PREVEOUS POSTING, BUT I AM SO GLAD THAT YOU ARE FEELING BETTER. I AM A DIABETIC 1 AND MY DOCTORS HAVE WARNED ME NEVER TO TRY ANY OF THESE NEW WEIGHT THINGS (PILLS,ETC.) WITHOUT TALKING TO THEM FIRST. SO I OPTED FOR JUST EATING THE CORRECT FOOD, LOTS OF FRESH FRUIT AND VEGETABLES, FISH AND CHICKEN, AND LOW GI BREAD (BROWN). I ALSO DRINK LOTS OF WATER.
ABOUT THE SLEEPLESNESS. MY MEN, BOTH SONS AND HUBBY SUFFER WITH SLEEPLESSNESS TOO, AND I KNOW IT IS BAD, BUT I PRAY FOR YOU THAT THIS WILL NOW GET BETTER TOO.
REMEMBER CUTIES ARE ALWAYS AROUND, NO MATTER WHEN. THERE IS ALWAYS SOME ONE WHO WILL BE ONLINE SHOULD YOU NEED TO TALK, I AM SURE

Hello LET ME SAY YOU ARE NOT ALONE AND NOT SHUNNED HERE. YOU HAVE A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO CARE FOR YOU HERE AND SEE THEMSELVES IN YOUR STORY. I ALSO HAVE DEPRESSION AND HAVE TROUBLE SLEEPING. I TAKE MELETONIN IN A SMALL DOSE TO HELP ME GET TO SLEEP. MY SISTER MADE ME A LAVENDER PILLOW TO PUT ACROSS MY EYES. WHEN I LAY DOWN I PUT THE PILLOW ON MY EYES TAKE MY MELETONIN AND BREATH IN THE LAVENDER SMELL. THEN I LISTEN TO MY BREATHING TRYING TO PUT EVERYTHING OUT OF MY MIND BUT THAT. I FINALLY GET TO SLEEP. IF I WAKE DURING THE NIGHT I PUT THE PILLOW BACK ON AND BREATH AGAIN UNTIL I FALL ASLEEP. GIVE IT A TRY IF YOU WANT TO IT HELPED ME. WE ARE ALL HERE IF YOU NEED TO TALK. Take heart, Lucy, you are never alone. Try to take each day as it comes and to smile to yourself in the mirror each morning. You should only tackle one battle at a time. Deal with your depression and then look at your weight. Once you feel good about yourself You WIll Be able to lose some weight.

Lucy Here u are definitely among loving, caring people. We love u & there is always someone here who can talk to u. Being a nurse I too, know there are many, many herbal remedies out there that must not b taken with your other meds. Either discuss with your Dr. or talk to your pharmacist. From past experience, the pharmacist has a wealth of info at his fingertips, but if u have a cp you do also. I know of no drug or herb that cannot be looked up on the computer for it's use & compatability with other drugs. Lillian
