My grandmother raised me and truly was the love of my life. Losing her has been so very difficult, but I must say, I am VERY blessed to have had her almost 85 years. I am thankful that GOD took her when He did because she was spared the last stages of alzheimer's disease.

I do ask for prayer as I am entering into the next battle in my life (or actually a continuing one from last Fall)... the "bad cells" are back and I'm going in for surgery on 3/11 at 12:30 PM.

In conjunction, I will also be having a biopsy taken in my left breast (don't know when that will happen yet) because the radiologist isn't happy with what he sees, hence, the GYN wasn't either. Boy girls, when it rains it pours, doesn't it?

Looks like 2010 is bringing lots of changes for many of us... some good and some not so good. BUT, through all this, we have each other and GOD promised never to leave us or forsake us. That brings me a lot of comfort! :-)

Okay, as Monica would say.. Fiesta! lol.. have a blessed day girls, and find someone to hug and kiss today - even if it's the cashier at the local grocery store.

Teri, you are in my prayers & thoughts; I have not been onto Cuties for a while, so I hope you will forgive me for my late, but sincere expression of sympathy for your loss of Queen Esther - let Our Lord and his angels carry you through these difficult days.

Teri, my dear - I know how difficult this time is for you and with each of these two things that the doctors will be doing with you and for you - believe - that the hand of God is in that room with them - He will get you through this and you will have one big story to tell others - so that when it is their turn - you can help them, as well. I love you lady!

Teri, if I could hug and kiss someone, it would be you dear friend.
You have been continuously in my prayers and will remain so until you have been given a clean bill of health.

I am so truly relieved for you and Queen Esther that she was spared the further deterioration and degradation of advanced Alzheimer's. Watching our loved ones slowly losing their identities and forgetting who we are, is one of the most heart breaking and devastating tragedies we could ever endure.
My heart goes out to you dear friend, you have a fight ahead of you, but Queen Esther will be your Guardian Angel, watching over you and fighting in your corner. So have faith dear one, she hasn't left you, she's just gone to speak on your behalf.
Much love, Meg

Dear Teri,
You have had so much on your back for a long while. Sometimes it does all happen at once, but I'm glad you're not letting it get to you. Perhaps we should all practice a little 'fiesta' therapy and enjoy each day. Have lost some friends recently, and one never knows when the last day will be, so we need to live each to the fullest.
Will find a cashier to hug; may be writing later from jail though....
You are in my prayers today and every day.
Love,
Jacqueline

Teri I tried to PM u with no luck. I know this has been a trying time for u but remember it takes fire to purify gold. Firey trials will temper us for God & He is always with us just like with the 3 Hebrew children He was in the furnace with them, don't forget this. He is right there with u. Queen Esther may b gone but she'll never b forgotten. She has left behind a wonderful legacy, you.
