Hi Yoriko, so sorry to hear about your foot. You have made me feel nostalgic for Japan. There is so much that is so different in your country and all so useful. I liked the heated loo seats...
Take care and dont over do it with your foot

I miss Japan too. I'll have to go there by June, can't wait to see my family...
These are all very cute indeed! I think this pattern would work on any holder, not just the ones shown - they look really nice and hold a spare just in case! Thank you for showing these examples as inspiration! Hope you get well soon!
Thinking that I had quite a collection of these in Japan, and I threw them away...I regret, could adapt or something.
Take care of you, yoriko, I like your picture especially the one with roses.***
Waow, some are originals, others are very beautiful!!! I'd like to find a pattern to make a similar, I likes!!! thanks Yoriko*
take good care of your foot, and thanks for these wonderful tp holders, never seen some like these before, hugs *4
I can see the toot roll holder has some kind of cover over it maybe we can use the simple pattern and just place a couple of loops at the top or button holes and we can hook it up for the Australian toot rolls I like the idea of the flap and it lends it self to some nifty embroidery ideas such as instructins for the men of the house how to put on a new roll when one runs out not just use it and leave it laying around and partially unravelled.
I found a simple pattern, but it will not work for every TP frames. You will see that on Japanese one, it has a gap behind the lid, allowing the holder go through. This link is for a Japanese site, you can see the pictures, they are very clear to understand, or put on google translator, but the translation is not good :)
Thanks for the link; cannot determine if the pattern would work for my bathrooms, although I do have different types of holders. Will try to make one. Very cute!

did you get carried away or what? Love them. Beats my" Butt Why Per" toilet paper covers!!
I will put my two cents in & vote for the one that looks like crochet .In some OLD crochet books you can find these designs to hand make.As my dad would say thats a pretty crappy deal HE!HE!carolyn
Never thought of decorating a necessity like the TP holder but these are beautiful.
Yoriko, these are so interesting - I have never seen anything quite like these....so, you are so talented...you should create one for embroidery!!!! What do you think? Hugs, Laura*
Love the pictures Yoriko. I never imagined that the toilet paper was displayed differently in other parts of the world.
Thanks,
Jacqueline
These are all super nice! You wouldn't have to take a book with you, just admire the tissue holder. Hahaha! Judy...
Interessante Yorico, nunca vi assim. Adorei o segundo(2) estampadinho em rosas. Ia ficar muito lindo, lá no meu sítio.
VC já acordou? eu estou jantando...

Well, well what will they think of next? Some cute designs there Yoriko!
I still think the "outback" toilet roll holder is a beaut!!!!!!!!!!!! ROTFLMBO!! although not necessarily rolling on the Toilet floor!!!
Love and blessings Chris
Hey this serves the purpose here really kind rustic for the guys or a camp style.Yip I like it!!!!
So funny but do you think the guys would still change the roll when you need a new one.
pictures
I've never seen that before !
I like the one with the chick.
Take care Yorikoo.
Great idea,,, perfect for the ones who don't want to get a new roll and take off the old one,,, lol
Never seen before either!! Neat, but how does it stay behind the other roll you are using and still have a spare just in case!! Hugs and flowers to you all
These are wonderful; it makes me ashamed of my unadorned toilet paper rolls.
