This is great - isn't it fun to sew for the granddaughter's. I only had one granddaughter that liked dolls - well she only likes one, but it has been fun making a few things for her doll - which is a boy doll, by the way. LOL
beautiful work i like the colore of the coat and the beautiful design
WOW! What a beautiful coat! You did an amazing job with this!
very cute! I learned "how to sew" on doll clothes! I would take scraps out of the wastebasket that sat below my moms sewing machine and come up with my own doll clothes! Yikes...that was like 40 years ago...and I still love making them! You did fantastic on the jacket and your design suits it so perfect. Don't forget a picture with the bonnet! Oh...and with Erin!
I remember making doll's clothes, by hand, as a child : I and my little group of close friends - we must have been about 8 or 9 at the time, still at Primary school - all had little plastic dolls about 6 ins tall which cost 6p (6 cents?) from Woolworths. We spent hours playing with them and making lots of clothes for them, which we kept in shoe boxes. I don't remember embroidering any of them, though! :-) Love from Dianne x x x
It is a lovely coat and the embroidery is so cute, would be lovely on a baby jacket too! Great work!
How sweet dianne! Nice to hear Erin loves dolls, so few little girls are thes days. *
