I have problems with my Bernina Artista 730. None of the designs from this site works.

Who can help me?

I don't know if these will help but I used this first site when I needed help for a labeller I have.

You can only try.
Good luck, HNR, M

Have you tried downloading the designs from here in a different format from ART, then convert this other format to ART in your software before uploading to your machine?

I've added a link to the online Bernina support centre for you.

Have you tried removing the saved files on your machine?

What can happen, is that each time you upload a design to your machine, it uses up some of the machine's memory so it is necessary to sometimes go through and do a clean up of the designs you have already stitched out and have stored somewhere else.
If you don't do this periodic housecleaning you will use up all the available "User" memory on your machine.
At least that is what the error message sounds like to me.

Have you checked the "trouble shooting section of your machine's instruction book?????

You know what that old saying is.... "when all else fails read the instructions."

Hello Meganne,

we´ve done all this things already.
The instruction book is also not helpful in this case.

Kind regards

It sounds like you have too much on the memory stick, and used up the available space. Try deleting everything, then just load the designs you want to use immediately. If you have your designs saved on your computer there is no need to have all the designs on the stick that you are using for your machine.

Like all other machines I'm assuming the software you you have to write the files to your USB is doing the job we have had a few newbies our way that were saving the designs to the USB but not writing the designs to it by doing this your designs come up on your Computer but not your Machine might pay you to check if they show up on your computer from your USB if so thats where the problem is and Welcome to the Worlds Best group

Hi!
I also have a Bernina 730 and have no trouble. Do the designs download to your computer and then you can't transfer them to your machine? I'm trying to figure out where the problem lies.

Hi!
Thank you!
We can download the designs to the compute, and also on the stick. We also can see the picture on the screen of the machine. But then the message appears: "the memory limit has almost been reached".
There´s no problem with other art-files downloaded from german sites.

Dear Markus,

Firstly of all welcome to the best site in the embroidery world.

Secondly - I would have a chat with your local dealer and find out exactly what is going on with the USB(stick).

Have you had lessons with the Bernina and if not usually you get free lessons?

Thirdly - there is bound to be someone on here who has a similar machine to yours and may be able to help.

You should be able to access every design on here as there are multiple machine formats in the designs.

Good luck and again welcome to Cute - love and blessings Chris (as I am an Aussie I've sent you a Koala bear with a bunch of flowers!!)

I think you should be more specific. I also have a Bernina Artista 730. Do you have the necessary software?

Tahnk you, Marthie!
I only have what is delivered with the machine.
There is a message shown "the memory limit has almost been reached" But there are only small files on the stick.
I have no idea what is going wrong.
Other files (from german sites) doesn´t make any problems.
