up the bobbin thread at all, I have a devil of a time getting it started, then it sews fine, sooooooo back in the shop. Seems like after they charge you $100.00 the darn thing should work., so the way my repair shop works it'll probably be another 2 weeks until I get it back and I still have binding to put on my last quilt! (sigh) well back to the Juki, guess it's better than nuttin but I'm not very pleased with this so called repair guy, think I'll change next time to somebody closer and faster. I have to travel 35 miles one way to take the darn thing in. Besides ITS BIKE WEEK!!!!! Hundreds of thousands of motorcycles have decended upon our town and it's quite noisey but oh so much fun, thanks for letting me vent ................

I have that same problem with my Diamond. So when I take off the hoop when I finish a design, I just open the bobbin case & "rethread" the bobbin leaving a tail for it to catch. It's really bad to have to go to that sort of "tricks" to use a machine that costs that & SHOULD work! But it's easier than having to stop everything when you start a new design and it won't catch up the bobbin from the last cut! Let me know if you ever get it fixed. What is your machine? A Viking?

Yep - Designer 1, I just love the machine but I think the repair guy is an idiot - I probably shouldn't say that but jeez you would think they would know how to line up the bobbin! You should get your fixed tho, it's a pain to pay the thousands we paid and still have to thread the darn bobbin independently. Good luck....

Doncha just hate that!!!!!

At least it will leave you with more free time to enjoy bike week. :-)

Hope you get it back soon. My Diamond has been in the shop for service over a week now so I'm getting a little bit antsy.
Hugs n roses, Meganne

sounds like her, the rep just called and seems they lost a guy so it's apt to be 3 weeks til I get it back! If they had just done it right the first time - but that doesn't seem to happen much any more, guess we're Husqvarna people tho, love my machine just not my repairman!
