Greetings from one Cutie newbie to another!
Another more cost effective option over a program such as PE Design would be a program similar to BUZZ TOOLS (http://buzztools.com/default1.asp). I have been using it for 9 years and love it...great for format converting and slight re-sizing needs. I'm sure others can chime in with similar products, Buzz Tools is just the one I'm familiar with. ~Rita
I see that you got your answers below, so I just wanted to say...Welcome to cute!
Hi, and welcome to Cute! Freebies and all designs are embroidery files, and you need to have some sort of software to read them. Your Windows program can't show you a picture of an embroidery file. You should have gotten some kind of software with your sewing machine. If you're new at embroidery, my first suggestion would be to take any free classes your dealer offers on how to use the machine your purchased, all good dealers offer classes. That'll set you up right from the start. And don't be afraid to ask questions here, somebody will have the answer for you. There are no 'dumb' questions, just questions you don't know the answers to yet. Welcome again, enjoy! Hugs, Marji
Hi and welcome to Cute. Not quite sure what you are asking, do you have PE design? if you do you can see the designs through that. Anyway happy sewing
Hi, I am not an expert but do you mean how can you see the image? you need to open the file where you save it and open it in your PE basic or another embroidery software. In PE Basic you do not see the image as clear as in Embird I have Embird and I really like it.
