I hope this is helpful. I cut fabric slightly larger than the finished animal (for example,if design is 6x8, cut fabric at least 7x9.) Hoop stabilizer, spray temporary adhesive spray on the stabilizer, place the fabric wrong side down on the stabilizer. Sew the first step, probably the face and any other embroidered areas on the front of the animal. When finished, place the second piece of fabric right side down on the first piece and start the machine again. It will sew the pieces together, usually 2 lines of sewing so don't panic if it continues after finishing the first line. Take the hoop out of the machine and uhoop. Cut a small slit in the back of the neck, trim, turn and stuff. Sewe up the slit either sewing the 2 edges together or place a small piece of matching fabric in the slit and sew the edges of the slit to the matching fabric. I wish I could help you with the finger puppets, but I have not made them yet. I have made about 100 stuffed animals (4x6 and 6x9).
