NEVER have to go for surgery again (regarding this matter).

On a lighter note, my girlfriend, Sandy, traded in her Brother 6 needle machine that she bought 10 months ago for the brand new Baby Lock 6 needle... anyway, I struck a deal with the dealer and will be keeping my Ellisimo but trading in my Esante for that 6 needle. :-) So my DH will go pick it up tomorrow. I'm so excited! She hasn't even used that machine much and it's basically brand new.

The LORD and my husband are so good to me. :-)

Okay, off to take a vicodin and an 8 hour nap. Hugs to you all.

Teri, I am happy to hear you are over the surgery and progressing very well! Sounds like you are going to be having some fun! Seems you struck a great deal on the 6-needle. I sure hope you enjoy it. I am still wishing I could afford a new Ellisimo!! Since I already have 3 embroidery machines, I do not see another one in my future. Of course I do not use them enough to warrant another NEW machine. My son is wanting me to sell one of the ones that I do have. I have really considered giving one of them to my BFF that was there for me all through my illness, then the horrific surgery on my legs, and on to the nursing home ,at 57, for 8 months. Shelia addmitted me to the hospital, stayed with me the almost month I was in the hospital, followed the ambulance, with me in it to the nursing home, looked after everything for me and came and picked me up with all my stuff when I was released. The nursing home was 40+ miles from her house and she visited me twice a week every week that I was there. I miss her so much since I let my son talk me into leaving my home and moving almost 4 hours away from my friends so I would be close to him. Of course, I never see him since he got married 10 months after I moved to the Atlanta area. Of course, since he had his Heart Attack a year ago at 42, he is not the easiest person to be around. I do hope and pray that he will soon return to his old self. I miss the son that I raised and do not know the person that he has become.
You get well soon so you can enjoy your coming home(hospital) present! ((((())))) and well wishes! linda

Teri,
I'm so glad all went well and I hope you're already feeling much better. I'm sorry I missed this post earlier - I was enjoying my stay with Esther, who's now living in Norway.

Congratulations on your 6-needle machine. I have a 4-needle, and do I love that one! Not having to change colours all the time, the sturdier frames, the higher speed and the stitch quality - sheer joy! Hope you'll recover completely and will be able to get it to work for you soon!
Love,
Martine

Hi Teri,

So glad to read that your surgery went well. I am sure Meg will write to you soon too. Also how wonderful that your husband will go and collect your new sewing machine. I don't know that brand but it sounds like it's a beauty.

Is Vicodin the tablet that "House" always refers to in his show? If so, I'd heed Lillian's message.

Look after yourself Teri and get lots of rest. Let everyone else "do" for you.

Love and blessings Chris

Glad to hear you're on the mend. Certainly know what you mean about the Vicodin and 8 hr. naps. It does the same to me. I am so jealous. That is a really nice machine you're getting. I played with one at a trade show recently. You're gonna recover a lot faster now because you'll need to start working with that new baby.
