found out that the largest of the blood clots had moved - so they are going to leave the filter in for another week - then scan again and see how it looks - but also he had a chest C-Scan and they are thinking that he has several irregular spots on his lungs - so please - if you will - say a prayer or two for him and one for me - to get through this part of the process - OK? You are always on my mind and I was so thrilled to read that you had popped on to let us know how Rick was faring. I am amazed at how wonderful the medical profession is these days - to be able to see all the things in our bodies. The update is good, so it keeps us on track with our prayers. Know that I think of you both often, and you are ever in my prayers.
Isn't it amazing that they can now find the clots before they do damage?! Praise God.
Sadly, I have not done a FSL angel for Rick; my last FSL project was a bit 'wobbly' so I'm waiting for our resident expert (you) to return to a normal, boring, everyday lifestyle, and then I'll ask you a few questions about doing FSL. I know you'll be able to help me, 'cause you're a caring and generous girl.

Laura, it has been hard - not talking to you, too - but I just am not online much - these days - but I am looking into putting the internet on my phone - lol. Thanks for everything, too.

Thank you to each of you - I did want to let you all know - that Rick is very postitive and all the theripist think of him as their #1 star - his progress is amazing - he had me bring all my angels to the unit and each day - he loves talking about my embroidery work and handing out angels to all HIS angels that are helping him recover. Pretty soon I will run out of angels that I have stitched, so I guess I will either have to find some time to stitch more or find something else for him to hand out. I do believe that we have handed out more than 60 different angels. He has all the angels that each of you have sent him on his wall and everyone that comes into his room comments on how lovely they are - then he tells them who and where they came from and they are all amazed at the generousity and love that has been sent from around the world. THANK YOU for you prayers, love and support.
