What lovely work, and i love how you have made the bowl as well, all of your little details, like the little butterfly, etc, well done, I have a container of these lovely roses and leaves, once I knew how to make them I couldn't stop. Excellent work ***4u
This is amazing!!! I don't know how many children you have, but if you have more than one, You better start making more. This most definitely is a heirloom to be handed down.
I think thats the most beautiful bunch of roses I have ever seen. Really great job.
Thanks for sharing Virginia
This is so beautifully put together. Absolutely gorgeous. Are the ribbons thin or like normal hair ribbons? How did you do the little delicate stems and flowers on the outer edge. You are so talented, I would love to learn this.
The ribbons are various widths and kinds: some are satin like you use for hair ribbons, organza and silk ribbons. The flowers on the edge are made with stem stitch with a rayon thread and then very small beads for the flowers
BEAUTIFUL ROSES!!!It's always amazing what can make for beautiful things with this technique.
Dixie, I have always wanted to learn how to do this and I love the way that you showcased your work here. This is so lovely.
Thanks I had trouble at first and thought I would never be able to make them but just kept trying and it finally clicked
