Thank you. Do you use one layer or two normally when making fsl?

I am and will check that out. Thank you very much. Do you use 1 layer or 2 when you do fsl with that?

I use Vilene as well and use 2 layers.

I hoop one layer and then I float a scrap piece under the hoop just the size of the design so I don't have as much waste.

I do that 'on the bottom' thing too, then the presser foot doesn't hook on the scrap if I'm sloppy!

Thank you crafter 2243, I've read one layer is enough but I don't have very good luck with that.

Hi I use Badge Master from OESD. It is very thick. I hoop one layer, stitch the lace out. Then cut around it without unhooping it. Replace a small piece in the hole and stick it down. Sew another one and do the same again. That way you don't use or waste a lot of it.
