Dear nama, do not feel guilty,in the next weeks, you will help us with your questions, with your answers and you can post your projects. Be often here with us and take pleasure to be here and sharing with us.
Hi nama2, I started machine embroidery in the good old days of DOS programs and found it very hard to get any sort of help with digitizing in my area which is a small country town 200k from any large retailers and before internet became a household norm.
I started by going to my local library and renting half hour time slots using their internet and then joining Annthegran I branched out from her links. there is a wide world of links, and most designers have freebies and more links.
good luck hunting. Colleen, Australia
Just be careful of some sites. The one I can think of right now is "Embroidery is Free" it is a banner on www.embroideryfriend.com. This site is okay but when I click on embroideryisfree my Avast antivirus tells me it is not safe
If you type in Free embroidery Designs in you browser, you will get heaps of sites with freebies.
Welcome! You're sweet, but don't feel guilty. Everyone is truely just sharing for the sake of sharing. Just google 'free machine embroidery designs' and see what comes up and then grab a cup of coffee and start looking. Here's a list of freebie sites to get you going. I think it's old so some of them may not be active any longer, I haven't really had a chance to look thru them. Just have to click & look :) Have fun! *4u, sandy
Thanks to all of you for kind and helpful words. One of these days I am going to learn how to send in my pictures too!
