I see a lot of people "test stitch" designs for others and themselves but what do you do with the samples? TIA ;D

I try to put my "test stitch-outs" to good use. Here is an owl that I am just working on. This was my first stitch out...and I have revised it two more times, to where I now want it. I just couldn't do nothing with this sample, so I made a purse for me! NOTE: It's not hanging straight...because it's FULL!! lol

perhaps I like a gamble, I hardly ever do a teststitch, most of the times I immediately embroider the design.unless it's on something somebody else gave me to embroider. but on my own things I just go and try. Maybe that's stupid.okay perhaps I am stupid.

In a way, I'm like you, too! I will stitch out, first time, baby designs on fingertip towels. 99% of the time, the designs will be great! Then...I make them into towel bibs! No waste!
