My sewing companion of nearly 17 years has passed away on Sunday. Poor old girl I miss her so much. Whenever I was sewing or Quilting she was with me. She was a "red Cattle dog" named Kallie rip

Dear Roslyn, I am so sorry to hear about Kallie. My blue cattle dog Jake sleeps under my computer table when I am on the pc or sewing . He is my 3rd cattle dog and is so smart. He is 13 and I know how it will hurt terribly when something happens to my best friend. Our pets love us without any boundaries and are so precious. I really feel your pain. Sincerely, Carol

So sorry to hear of your loss. There is nothing like a pet. My son's cat died this morning. Only 4 years old. The vet thinks she might have suffered a heart attack. We had a border collie for 13 years, we miss her every day.

So sorry to read about Kallie Roslyn, dogs are just about the best companions anyone can have.

My Bella (Sheltie - miniature Collie)sits at my feet all the time and even follows me to the toilet and sits at the door and she sleeps with us too! Very much like Linda's furbabies.

My heart goes out to you - just think of the good times and she'll be right there with you.

Love and blessings Chris

I am so sorry to hear this! There is no friend in the world as loving and faithful as a furbaby! My older Pekingese was 14 on 12/23/09 and she has had cancer for 4 years. The tumors are very large now and she has aged soooo much in the last couple of months. She has her almost good days and her bad days and they seem to run together. She does not hear as good as she did and she is lighter in weight but she still eats very good and she wants me to rub her head and ears and let her know that she is still loved. I know that she does not have very much longer but for the time being, she is fighting to stay with me. I had her mama and her daddy and she has been with me since the day she was born. My other pekingese will be 5 in April and I adopted her in Oct. of 2007. I found her on Petfinders.com and went to Tennessee to get her. She is pad trained and she even sleeps in the bed with me. She stays on her side until she gets ready to snuggle in the morning. She will very gently put her front legs/paws up on my stomach and be very still until I speak to her and she just has her a good time playing until she has to go potty and she will go to the foot of the bed and get very quiet until I put her on the floor. She will do her business on her pad, make hers rounds through the house and come back and get in her doggy bed unless I get up when she does. She is always right under me unless I am bathing and she will take that time to nap. She has full run of the house and has never made any kind of mess. She tells me when she is hungry, wants to play and wants to go outside(with a leash). She is very nosy and extremely smart. I miss doing all the good things with Bebe but she has to stay in the hall and huge utility room on the floor covering. With the cancer, she has some major accidents that she can not avoid. She has her own room with her bed, her water and her food bowls and her one baby(stuffed animal) that she has had and played with since she was big enough to want to play. Her white Teddy Bear is right with her all the time. She got it when she was 2 days old for Christmas and it had a music box in it. When I can take it long enough to wash it, you can not tell it is not a new toy. She has always been the most loving and gentle little being in the world. That stuffed animal is over 14 yrs old and she has never ripped, chewed, or been without it. Bebe has never ceased to amaze me in her 14 plus years. She will not give up and she does not want to leave me. I get up and check on her all through the night. I will stand there and make sure she is breathing. She sleeps most of the time now and if the pain gets bad, I will let her go. Otherwise, she will be here until she goes to sleep and crosses over the bridge. My babies are my friends and the loves of my life. It is a very sad and hard thing to have to go through but she has been there for me all through the years and I will be happy to do the same for her. You need to get out there and find you another fur-baby. They are worth it in the long run! My girls are my Avatar. There are so many that need homes and someone to love them. Go and adopt you one that needs you also1 Hugs to you, Linda
