would shimmer when dry. Sort of an alternative to metallic thread. It was not glitter, it was a powder. I have gone to Joann's and hobby Lobby and neither one know what I am talking about. I don't remember now the site or the name of this powder, I am hoping someone else does. Maybe even be able to tell me where I can purchase it.

found the site for stampin up. When you get there, go to embellishments then click on glitter. It's call diamond dust, I think. There is a choice of languages when you get to the first page.

Check out the stamp dept. in craft stores. I know I have some from Stampin Up, a home party group. But you may find it on their web site. Sure they have one, but just don't know it. Good luck!

Glitter comes in varying sizes, I mean the size of each bit of glitter. I use a very fine glitter and sprinkle it over the lace while it is still wet. The one I use most is just very fine glitter, it looks white sparkly in the bottle, and looks lovely on the lace. When I used gold or silver it just looked dirty.
Fouund a link below is for the one I use, my favourite is called 'rainbow lites' superfine polyester glitter. Hope this helps.

I have seen where you can purchase glitter powder/dust to put on your nails - maybe that would work.
Google glitter dust or powder for nails.
