i have a janome 300e and i have gone through everything. i changed design and fabrics and stabilizers and tensions. i had thought when i changed designs that was it (i think maybe it was partly--it seems to have a particularly hard time with narrow lines).


so i changed to a design i knew worked, voila! hurray! but this was with a brand new bobbin. so then i put on a design i actually want, but that i have used before, and we are off---but then it starts all over. so this time instead of changing to a new Metro bobbin, i fill a bobbin that came with the machine, and no problems it seems! i unwound these two and did find htat that the winding was not perfect, and in some places it would get 'stuck'.

wondering what others experiences were?

I use them and the embroidery thread as well. I have had no problems and I own a Baby Lock Ellago. Love the price and customer service.

I am sorry you are having problems!!! I use Metro thread bobbins (I have a Brother 1500D) and have not had the first problem with them. I also buy their embroidery thread and my machine really loves it! I hope you didn't get a bad batch....I would call the company.

i have emailed. maybe i need to change a setting or something. i was so excited about how much more sewing i could do with the prewound bobbin.

I use them and have had no problems with them on my D1, I do know that the company is great with their customer service, I have had orders come in wrong and they fixed it so fast was great.

I have purchased them, but have not used many of them. I tried them to make sure that my SE would take them, but wanted to use my older ones first. Sorry you are having an issue with them. I do have issues sometimes when I wind my own bobbins. But if you feel that there is a problem with the bobbins themselves, you should get back with Metro. They have always been very good about responding.
