if Veronika could open up her site and find out that she was #1 in the ratings!!! We all know that she has the most superior designs! Those of us that are members also know that we have the greatest group in the world so what is going on? Please go and vote at the same time everyday. Your vote will only be counted once a day so you need to get in the habit of voting at the same time everyday! This is the very least that we can do for Veronika. Hugs, to all!

Does the fact that I've gone into the CE site count as a vote? I don't see anywhere inside CE to vote.

In all fairness to Sick, they do have a few more "perks" than Cute does.
1. Real time messaging (live chat)
2. Daily free design + Hourly free design + Hourly free design hunt. (25 designs per day)

3. I know personally when I have put a design (set) into my wish list with them within an hour or 2 it is on sale.
Of course I ALWAYS vote for Cute, but as I said Sick does have a few more perks that some people may like/want.
I have often wondered how many members (paid or non paid) were online while I was visiting cute and I have no idea.
Sometimes when someone has an embroidery issue, in their mind it is a 5 alarm fire.
At sick you can find help instantly, on Cute it could be hours or days before you get any assistance.
I understand that is not why this site was created BUT if there is a forum some people expect it.
I am not saying sick is better, I am saying maybe it offers more people what they need or want.
Consider their lifetime membership that goes on sale * WOW * (No I do not own one)
I do not mean to offend anyone at Sick or this site BUT personally I do not really *love* all of the designs from either. I value my money and would rather spend $50 on a set to die for than,
$35 for a membership for designs I will never use.
I hope this did not create any hard feelings, I think there are some very wonderful things about both sites.
AND I totally support voting for Cute.

To ensure I vote for Cute, I listed the Embroidery Top site in Favourites just below my entry for Cute Embroidery.. Then each day I go to Top Embroidery first and click on 'Cute' to vote - This way it records my vote AND also opens up entry to Cutes site... Kills two birds with one stone, and I don't forget to vote for Cute!!! Amazing how devious little tricks cover up for an ageing memory, isn't it?

Sick is not playing clean, everytime someone visit them or download a design it is an automatic vote, that is why.

At DesignsBySick you can vote from the home page. If you are not logged in the vote counts for SICK. If you are logged in you receive 1 point each time you vote and ONLY 1 vote or point in a 24 hour period. The points add up and can be used too 'purchase designs with points' either single or sets for 400 points. It's a added bonus to collect points toward the 'purchase' of designs.
Why must SICK always be accused of cheating here when it's not true. I have friends on both forums and it's sad to always be wrongly accused!

It is comments like this that put people off joining in with the community here at Cute - I browse through the messages here and at DBS, but the only time I see anything remotely negative about Cute at DBS is when feathers are ruffled by this sort of accusation! The Sickies (who are obviously also Cuties!)acknowledge Veronica's skills as a digitizer, but they all are very loyal to their own forum because it is active, friendly, knowledgeable and supportive. I say this as an 'outsider', because I usually 'lurk' - but sometimes my own feathers start to ruffle!

How do we vote, I go to the site and I don't see a vote button at all.

Lately, I have tried to vote every day, but I don't get that 1+* message that I used to get. Does that mean that the vote is not counting?

the 1+* message is helpful as a reminder that 24 hours have gone by but hve nothing to do with the voting for cute.
