While my bread was raising and I was waiting for the oven to heat I finsihed this little project. The doily measures 9" across, and consists of 6 panels and the center. The design comes from Threads n Scissors. I tried something a little different in rinsing this. While attending an event with Anita Goodesign they recommended soaking in warm water with a small amount of a good hair conditioner. The doily is quite a bit softer than the rest that I have done, and feels more like the crocheted doilies my mother and grandmother made. Happy Eater to all Cuties - all over the World.

Beautiful, hair conditioner usually have some sort of oil, grease...whatever. I like to rinse them a few times and then soaked overnight with a little of fabric softener, the get very soft.*****

Gee Beth, this is simply stunning. I love the delicate look of this one. Well done and I bet your bread turned out lovely too! I can almost smell it!

I have a Breville Breadmaker and I just love the smell of the bread when it's cooking. There's not much better smell than that, except for fresh mown lawns and strong smelling flowers.

Love and blessings Chris

Oh my Beth, this is lovely - great tip - I think I will be using that one on the next doily that I stitch out. I just bet that your Easter meal was wonderful, too. Love, Shirlene

TY - and the meal was good and it was good to be with my girls and their families. We miss Bradley, but that is to be expected.
