Hi, I have an MB4 and love it. I got my for Christmas 2007. Cost about $8000. I have done alot of embroidery with it. Golf shirts, jackets, etc. No problem, as Mops says easy threading. The only drawback is their hat hoop isn't the greatest. Hugs Lynn.
Thank you, Lynn, I am warming up to this machine more every day. Watched youtube clips and it looks amazing.

I have the Melco EP-4, which is exactly the same machine as they developed them together.
I absolutely love it. I've had it for over 2 years now and never had any trouble, it's a joy to use. It's a nice workhorse and I have done loads of FSL designs on it.
On the downside:
* there is no bobbin sensor, it stitches on merrily, so check your bobbin regularly.
* 4 needles is not a lot when you are doing multi coloured designs. Rethreading is fast, you just knot the new thread to the old.
* maximum speed is 800 st/min, which is fast enough for me, and even gold metallic can be used at that speed.
* maximum hoop size 200 x 240 mm, (the Brother has 200 x 300) and no cap frame.
But the price tag is so much nicer than the Brother's and I'm really happy with it.
