Couldn't resist this adorable little bear. After embroidering it, I stitched a backing fabric to it and turned it into a softie. Not sure what I am going to do with him. But he sure is cute and has an antique look to him.

How cute - do I understand right that this was a design and you stitched a backing and stuffed it? What a great idea!

Yes, I found a good sized embroidery design I liked. (I only have a 4x4 hoop) I embroidered the designed, removed it from the hoop, placed a backing fabric right side facing the embroidery and stitched around it. Then trimmed it close and turned it inside out. That turning part was a bit difficult. Then I stuffed it and hand stitched it closed. Sometimes I put squeakers or rattles inside fot babies and dog toys.
