Possums my friend, they really are sweet, but usually they just live in the wild or in zoos. I feel lucky to have them around us so close. They often get upset during the day if DH moves something in the shed only to find a possum sleeping they just look at him and move a bit further away from him.

They look so sweet, you see a north american possum - yuk! they unfortunately are the ugliest things, slow, mean and quite feisty. The good old boys (country boys) hunt em for dinner - yuk

25546guess who lives in our shed. Actually we have about 3 adults they leave and return each night. And yes I give 'em bananas and other fruit.

I am green with envy, we are still trying to get trees and gardens growing. I miss the king parrots and other wonderful parrots and birds that used to visit me at my other home.
