Thank God I had some food to eat while I waited because I was hungry ;> DH had to come and I winded up needing a battery. I'm grateful I didn't get stuck in an unknown area.

I may try to sew later when I regroup...FIESTA ANYHOW! ;D

Whew; what a day! Things like that only happen when my DH and son are out of the state or country on business. One day I ended up resting in a state police station's conference room, while waiting for a friend to come and rescue me.
Glad you are/were safe!

So sorry about your day but at least your husband was able to fix it and it was only a battery, and thankfully you did shop and have that energy food handy and if you think about it,it was god's way of giving you a rest in your day. You had the time to just sit and do nothing. if you had kept going like you planned you probably wouldn't have sat at all.

Sometimes what seems to be a very inconvenient situation turns into something positive. I agree that in a busy day you ended up with an unexpected rest period that you probably didn't know you needed. Hurry and recoup and get back to what you love to do. A big HUG for you. I am sure you need it.

My dear Monica, U know god is looking out for you. sorry about the battery, I guess this happens to all of us sooner or later when it comes to vehicles. I'm always at a loss if I have a problem. We have Cell phones now, when I was young, I broke down on a lonely stretch of road at night. Cell phones were not invented then. Scared I was, the house I walked to I knew no one. The old grandmother sitting in a rocking chair in the dark on the front porch asked who I was before I married she says" my sons use to work for your grandaddy & he was always good to them. They will help you" she rounded them up & they got me on my way. 9P.M. on a dirt back rd. in South Ga. was not a good short cut to take, back in the early 50s but God looked out for me, and that's how I know he was looking out for you./*

Monica, bless your heart - you did get what you needed - a short rest and some food for energy - now - you can get to whatever it is that you need to do - for today. I am happy to hear - that you are OK and home now - with a husband that knew what to do and did it to get you out of the fix that you were in, too. Love coming your way, dear!
