It is different, and very enjoyable to look at! I'm sure you will love it for a long time! Hugs, Judy
It is beautiful and I agree with you. It should be as reminder of your good friend and kept that way.
Meg I can see why you purchased it. sometimes we cannot make things that are so cute without the hassle. and besides you sure do need spoiling. Love it.
That is so lovely, I do enjoy embroidery, but quilting still holds the majority of my heart.;)
Oh how lovely! I really like the colors. Your friend is very talented. I know that you will be able to master quilting too. There are also quilt designs that you can do in the hoop, one block at a time and then sew the blocks together. I want to try that, but am planning to make a tablecloth first. Happy Stitching. ***
How Beautiful! I have a similar pattern, but haven't done anything with it. This inspires me a little. Makes me start to think of the fabrics I have to work with the pattern. Maybe put some type of embroidery on it also. thanks for sharing.
I too agree! That is a beautiful piece. That is interesting with the way th chopsticks are displayed.
I agree it's beautiful and since you've taken up quilting it won't be long before you can make your own. Thanks for sharing.
NAH, This is a ONE OF, Kaz.
Far too special to copy because it is from another "good" friend.
Hugs n love, Sis
This is beautiful - I wonder how they made the kimono! With all of your talent - I just know you can make this too!!!*
Nah, I have mine now and it's very special coming from one of my lovely online friends. :-)))
Hugs n roses, Meganne
A beautiful work of art Meg and so beautifully done...I am sure you will find a place of honor for it...hope you are staying out of mischief...hugs Glenda x0x0x0x
That is beautiful...now YOU should have the confidence to make YOUR own!!!!
I'm working on it!
I bought a book, the A to Z of Quilting and I've been reading it and taking it all in, it's just those tiny pieces that have me worried, but Polly is going to clamp down on me when she comes back.
I so want to make it.
Hugs n love, Sis
Those tiny pieces can be done easily if you use paper piecing. But if you really want to make it the easy way, instead of paper piecing you can digitise the whole thing and stitch it in the hoop as I did with a couple of pincushions.
I somehow don't think I can make a queen size quilt in the hoop Martine. hahahahhahaha!
hugs n love, Meg
I'm nothing, if not ambitious. LOL!!!
And when a friend sends you a whole 'Block of the Month' set, to make a QS quilt, then I think I had better learn how to quilt......
AND FAST! hehehehehehehehe.
I just don't have enough table room to throw such a large project around so I want to take it to our community class and make it there.
Hugs n love, Meg
Oh, Meg; it is a beautiful piece! It's so nice to have fiber art from around the world.
Hi Meg, gee that is really cute. I love the chocolate with the pink. It will look great on a wall in your home. Love and blessings Chris
It's actually maroon not chocolate, it just looks darker in the photo.
I plan to put it in my Asian theme room, when we build the extension up home but I like it so much I think I'll hang it over our bed until then. :-)

When I saw this on her Etsy shop I had to have it and I am so glad I bought it as it is even more beautiful than the photo shows.
The chopsticks are real, the little fan is embroidered and the Kimono is a hand made miniature with a beautiful little brass button.
The whole wall haning is about 18" square and it is the first wall hanging I have ever bought.
Karmen, I thank for for making such a pleasure to my eyes.
Hugs and roses, Meganne
